Conversion of offices to flats at 12 Church St, Coatbridge.

This former office building in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, is located within a conservation area and has an ornate sandstone facade. Sondh Associates oversaw the conversion of the building into four individual flats.

In order that the building met the requirements of modern living its thermal and acoustic performances needed to be greatly improved. Through careful design it was possible to achieve this without altering the building's character or ornate facade.
