The current site is unused and as a consequence it is unsightly and detracts from the surrounding buildings.

The proposed care home design responds to its context both in terms of scale and materials while integrating features that make the building identifiable and unique.

The elevations acknowledge the variety of styles and building types in the area and add further character to the predominantly new build surroundings. The design takes into account the requirements for space and natural light with extensive landscaping and large windows to the bedrooms/ communal areas.
